Have your skin looked at by a trained health professional who see's hundreds of skin lesions every month.
At Jimboomba Family Practice we utilise MoleMax imaging - this allows us to photograph and save an image for later comparison. This helps us to diagnose the earliest forms of melanoma.
Every suspicious lesion is examined using dermatoscopy to enhance the diagnosis of any cancerous skin lesion.
If required lesions some will be biopsied to confirm diagnosis but otherwise most lesions can be removed directly via surgical excision.
Many lesions and low grade skin cancers maybe amendable to other therapies, such as - Cryotherapy, Topical therapy or Cautery and curretage.
